Not worth the money.....
We stayed in the last double room available and got it for £50 for the night....but when you add the £12 parking (the back yard non secure) and £24 for breakfast it was quite expensive for what we got in return....Although the breakfast was very good.
The room was not clean but the bedding was....the shower did not have any power at all, the TV worked, the boiler in the lobby cupboard kept us awake...
The couple who ran this guest house were lovely but need to be a little more professional in their approach, and maybe get a chamber maid with better eye sight to get rid of the cobwebs in the room and en-suite that needs updating from a bad refurb in the 80's....shall we say someone had too much artex and went wild....
The best of the stay was dinner...at the local pub (The Blacksmiths Arms) excellent food, good wine and great service.
