Pine Trees Hotel

We enjoyed our one night stay, the hosts were very helpful and accommodating with a bed so large you could swim across (no pun intended, unfortunately having travelled from the far south of England we had little chance of sampling Pitlochry 's finer points .The following day after a hearty breakfast we carried on north to Forres for the new year's festivities .

The beautiful Pine Trees Hotel

This is our second stay at the Pine Trees Hotel and, like the first, highly enjoyable.

The staff are helpful, the location superb, the room spacious and very well maintained and the food delicious. Highly recommended.

Great customer service and a lovely hotel

We booked the Molyneux suite for our wedding anniversary and were amazed at how big the room was for the price we paid.

The customer service was great, everyone was really friendly and willing to help with any requests, and the chef was happy to prepare a vegan breakfast (which we requested in advance) which was delicious. Can't speak for the lunchtime/evening meals as we only had breakfast at the hotel. The only slight negative was the room was a little dusty, but in a room that size with so many decorative features, I really can't complain.

Quiet, country location and still close to main street.

Perfect location for our needs - short walk to shops (although uphill on the way back), river, dam and fish ladder, festival theatre and some distilleries.

Staff very helpful, attentive and pleasant. Just what we needed!

Beautiful Hotel

A great hotel for a weekend away.

Very peaceful room yet close to the centre of town. Staff were very welcoming. Would definitely visit again.

Great food and service, hotel lacked atmosphere.

Room on the small side, but we were advised before we went.

We took two small dogs with us, so we were a little cramped.

Fantastic stay at the Pine Trees

My friend and i travelled to the Pitlochry for an overnight stay with our 2 dogs and i had booked us into the Pine Trees Hotel for an absolute bargain price of £110 for a twin room ...

as we pulled up the drive my friend very kindly said " you should go in and check this is the right place because i cant believe we,re going to stay here .. with 2 dogs and for £110 ..Low and behold we were in the right place though..set high up in the town we had landed in the stunningly beautiful hotel where from the second we set foot in the place we were greeted with friendly helpful staff who came to take our luggage to our room and didn't mind in the least that he was nearly knocked off his feet by a very very excited Jack russel and an equally enthusiastic our room we were given details of facilities within the hotel but also given information of all the local pubs/restaurants in town were we could go eat/drink with the dogs..The room was beautiful with period furniture throughout the hotel..warm and extremely clean..we were left with a full tray of various teas and coffee, shortbreads and dogs treats and poo bags for the mutts :) Seriously what a fantastic, comfortable and superbly friendly stay we had , a beautifully cooked breakfast and plenty of choice for breakfast...the grounds of the hotel were brilliant for sitting out having a drink enjoying the sunshine and playing ball with the dogs. I can't rate this hotel highly enough, superb for anyone wanting to go walking up north without having to leave your best friend at home..Thank you so much to everyone at the Pine Trees we all had a fantastic stay and Ben Vrakie is our next climb so shall definatly be back to stay with you soon..Sincerely Keri........
