The Station Hotel & Cafe Bar

The description on the web was inaccurate and incomplete: (1) we were informed after we checked in that there would be loud music until 12:30 AM as there is every Saturday; (2) we were expecting a double and a single bed, and were put in a room with 3 single beds; (3) we were led to believe that breakfast was included in the room, and discovered that this was not the case; and (4) there was no WIFI access in the room, and it was barely evident in a small area in a hallway.

Very homely feel with warm and friendly staff

Fabulous stay at the hotel.

Immediately outside the train station and across the road from the centre so ideally located. The staff are fantastic with a great sense of humour. Really clean rooms and had no issues whatsoever. Yes, the hotel doesn't have the feel of a Premier Inn or Travel Lodge but it more than makes up for it with character, the warm feeling you get, great breakfast and, again, warm and lovely staff.
