Value for money, As I can see the hotel is a bit dated with ceilings bizarre for 2016.
Parking can be a pain. Like I say a good value hotel no frills but a good standard. Staff very helpful and polite.
Arrived on Friday evening with a wedding reception in full swing, hotel smelt of stale smoke and alcohol.
Greated by friendly man at reception who directed us to our family room on the first floor. After a short walk down to the prom, we came back to have an early night. The music was very loud until 11pm, which we didn't mind because you would expect this with a wedding reception downstairs. Although we did have an issue with the shouting and singing in the garden until the early hours, this kept our 2 year old awake. We did get an apology from the gentleman at reception the next morning. The following night was a little more peaceful, although again we was kept awake by Irish females having a drunken argument in the garden again. We checked out by 8am the next morning, where the same women were shouting at the receptionist asking for a refund. It's fair to say we were quite keen to depart the premises and would not be staying again. I was disappointed because the staff were very polite and helpful, but the clientele that they have stay at the hotel brings it down somewhat.
