About the hotel
The Sandy Lodge Hotel is an excellent family run hotel based in the popular tourist resort of Newquay. Situated close to the seafront the hotel features en-suite rooms and leisure facilities, accompanied by excellent cuisine and great service. the hotel is located in a residential area with ample on site parking, but is only a 10 minute walk from the lively town centre.
Entertainment is provided most nights and the public areas have ramped access to facilitate wheelchair users.

Didn't get what we booked for, one of receptionist was very rude and wasn't helpful at all
We reached the hotel early and parked our car but went to let the reception know our arrival where she confirmed we have 1 double, 1 twin and 1 single whereas, we ensured we booked for 2 standard double.
I showed her booking confirmation from LateRooms too. He promised to reshuffle room and provide us with 2 standard double room and will leave note to her colleague when we come back later for check-in.
We went back to hotel around 6:30 pm and the receptionist was very rude and wasn't willing to listen to us at all though we showed her our booking confirmation but she was like, either you take these room or you can leave, she doesn't care as she mentioned we haven't paid for rooms yet. She completely tried to ignore the fact that we booked 2 standard double room, not a twin. She said that is what has been booked and reserved for us. After asking multiple times about customer service and charge we pay for what we didn't booked for, she finally offered free breakfast for one morning. She insisted rooms has been reserved as per booking regardless I showed her email.
To confirm, I check with a different receptionist on checking out where the error was and asked for receipts. She checked emails and confirmed no errors were made from LateRooms but hotel decided to give us twin room.
Suggest you call them before travelling to make sure you get what you booked for.
