Happy stay

Pleasant two night stay.

Room was clean and nicely furnished though in a noisey spot near the kitchen and corridor. The old door didn't fit properly so had no sound proofing. You could hear everything but most people went to bed at a reasonable time fortunately. The power shower in the ensuite was excellent. The breakfast was excellent with a big choice. We booked the buffet evening meal on Friday which was also tasty. The house has beautiful grounds and glorious views. It is run by HF holidays so geared for walkers and community style dining. It's more like a guest house than a hotel as no reception and volunteers help out.

Happy stay

Most enjoyable weekend stay.

Lovely country house with beautiful views and good sized rooms. Pleasant swimming pool with pool towels provided. Breakfast was hearty and nicely served with plenty of choice. We didn't have the dinner as it was three courses on a set menu which is too much for us these days but the pub in the next village gave us a good meal.
