overnight stay to see a Shakespeare play
Although Ingon Manor is down a remote lane, it is very handy to get to straford, in our case to visit the RSC theatre.
The car park lights were still on when we arrived home after the theatre which we were grateful for. The room was very spacious and clean and bed comfortable. breakfast was very well cooked and of very good quality.
The room was great, very large, very good quality with lots of nice touches, had a nice quiet stay.
All of the staff were very friendly and the scrambled eggs at breakfast were the best I've had for years. It was a strange place to stay though, I turned up at 8pm on a friday night because I needed somewhere to break up my journey, reception had stayed specially late for me and then went, the chef had gone home and the only food available was a sandwich and the place was deserted. So I would recomend but perhaps better to arrive earlier.
