Staff

The hall was nothing at all to do wth the hotel.

The reception staff were less than welcoming and everything was a bother to them, we were going to a wedding and they had mixed our bookings up. We had asked to be together but we were in different buildings and had no rooms for the grooms family even though they had been booked and paid for. Wanted to send them off to another hotel at 1.30 am. Towels in the room, we'll make sure you only wash once as they are loath to give you two towels a bit of arm bending was needed at reception. The bar staff were very professional but weren't able to due their job as it was a very poorly stocked bar and had to keep apologising for not having the correct drinks though the drinks they had were expensive. Most of the dining room staff were fabulous both men and ladies at breakfast, lunch and dinner really on the ball and extremely helpful which was good because the food was very good. So apart from the dining not very accommodation which was spoiled by the reception desks attitude.

What a lovely break

The hotel was lovely and had full use of spar, gym, and swimming pool.

The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly.

The manor on the grounds is beautiful (might stay in there next time)
