Always wanted to stay here

Finally made it due to moving house.

We weren't disappointed. Great location and grand Victorian decor. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The food was lovely although breakfast was a little expensive. A pity we had to pay for the car park as we are used to this being provided free at other hotels we have stayed in. We would love to return soon and will certainly visit the restaurant with friends. We highly recommend this delightful hotel with its traditionally high standards and excellent customer service to anyone staying or passing through the area.

Old fashioned hotel still quite grand

Needs a lick of paint here and there.

Service was good but we were shocked to pay £5 to park on top of the £140 for B and B . We were meeting up with friends there so would normally have found somew here for better value. I had asked and paid extra for a sea view but didn't get it.
