Another super holiday here.

This was the second time I had stayed in the Aparthotel Imperatriz in Funchal.

Last year (2013) I spent 5 days with my daughter. I loved it so much that this summer \i came back for 2 weeks with my husband. We had a super stay. The hotel is ideally situated, within walking distance of the centre of Funchal, and very handy for buses/boat trips. The room we had was very spacious - the only slight problem was we were on the street and a couple of nights it was a bit noisy, as we had to leave the balcony doors open as it was so hot. The hotel is very good value. It is clean and well-equipped, having a kitchen area with a fridge, which is ideal for having keeping things cool. There are some very good places to eat nearby. The staff are very friendly, and put up with my attempts at Portuguese. Duarte in particular was very helpful with advice and help with booking some of the trips we wanted to do. We will definitely be going back. Thank you!
