Great Value for money
I stayed for two nights and was greeted by a welcoming receptionist.
The room was small but was small but had everything it needed. There was a note explaining why there's no double glazing (listed building) and it said there were complimentary earplugs for the road, which there were none in my room. Luckily I had my own anyway but didn't need them as my room was located nearer the back of the hotel. Breakfast was ok, a very long wait on a full English my first morning so I'd advise to go earlier if you need to be somewhere. The second morning I had eggs benedict and the muffins were a little stale which was a shame but the rest of it was nice. The jam selection were passed their best before date by a few months (didn't bother me as it wasn't a use by date and would seem a shame to waste them as they tasted fine).
Perfect for a weekend getaway with quality and service that was excellent
The hotel was great.
Check in was quick and easy and the staff could not have been more helpful polite and pleasant and from the minute' we got there it was great. Relaxed atmosphere and the food in the restaurant was fantastic and the staff were happy to help in any way at all.
Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Doncaster as it perfectly located for everything there.
