All rooms include newly fitted bath / shower rooms, remote control televisions, direct dial telephones, and fluffy towels. Irons and ironing boards are available for guests use on request. The carpeting was most likely the cause of the bad odor in my room, which was probably mold.
I was only staying one night and leaving early the next day, so didn't bother to ask for a better room. The man at reception was kind to offer to carry my suitcase up the four flights of narrow stairs, which were in addition to the flight to get to the reception desk. When I walked into my room I still had to go up a narrow winding staircase, so left my big suitcase at the bottom of the stairs.
This Hotel is great if you are on a Stag Night, and just need a Room to crash in.
The Room I stayed in on the top Floor, had a Spiral Staircase leading to an Attic Room. The Staircase was so narrow, you could not bring up a Suitcase. You could not evacuate that Room in a hurry!
