Far more than I wanted to pay but due to meeting others we had to stay here.
Impressed by the room, a corner one with windows on two sides. But not my first choice as I would have prefered a small pub away from the city centre. Breakfast was fine for the price - but booked on arrival at a discount - would not have been happy paying the full price. Wetherspoons about 10 mins walk away if you want something cheaper (with more choice). Bar typical of city/chain hotels - No real ale just gassy fizz, why can't these places serve something decent ????. Wife was impressed with the pool etc. Parking at £7 overnight but free on the street after 6PM - not sure when charging starts in the morning though. OK place in a quiet location but also near the city centre, nice rooms. If staying in the city centre would look at it again if the price was right.
The room was spacious and clean service friendly dissapointed with parking charge and quality of food.
