nice little place
Lovely little guest house, rooms were lovely and clean and beds were comfortable.
The host was a little hostile and thought to myself that it wasn't his forte to run a B&B but for the amount of time we were with him, it wasn't a problem.
We had to pay £5 each per day for breakfast, I was expecting some kind of cooked food but there wasn't. Only some toast when the host finally got around to asking us if we wanted any. All there was to offer was boiled eggs, croissants and cereal.
We had free parking from Saturday evening until Monday morning just a short walk from the B&B which was perfect.
Location was brilliant and easy to find.
Arden Park Hotel
We stayed at the Arden Park Hotel for one Friday night.
The hotel was easy to find, however it would have been good to know in advance where we should park. There is no parking at the hotel, but there is a public car park over the road called Arden Street which you get a 24 hour parking pass from the hotel, for a price of £5 which is a bargain. We stayed on the 2nd floor, in one of the attic rooms which was small but was absolutely fine for us. The bed was comfortable and we had tea and coffee facilities, as well as little TV. The location of the hotel was perfect, just a short walk from the town centre - I would say 5-10 minute. We didn't have breakfast for cannot comment on the food, but the hotel was clean and welcoming so we were happy with our stay here.
