Superb Hotel

We stayed here for one night with my husbands elderly parents.

The staff were so helpful in accommodating our preferences prior to our stay. Very friendly, nothing was too much to ask for. The hotel is very comfortable, very clean and quite grand looking. My only grumble is that the breakfast room could have been better managed, it was a bit of 'a free for all' in seating arrangements with no specific direction of where to sit considering how busy it was. However, the food was lovely and we would definitely stay there again. Thank you.

Weekend Jolly

We booked to surprise our Father and relations who were celebrating an Aunt's 90th birthday.

Travelled up from Cornwall and checked in around 3pm. Very busy as there were three wedding receptions on the go. Check in was straight forward, reception gave us directions to our room and of we went. Room was well presented, storage space is limited and only suitable for overnight stay. Had a couple of maintenance issues in the en suite bathroom which we reported to a receptionist. The problems remained throughout our stay. Top marks to the staff who are very friendly. Overall the information supplied by the Hotel website and was informative and accurate. An 8 out of 10 *** experience for us.
