City Centre Hotel
Stayed overnight here as was out on a Sunday night and working in city meant I didn't have to worry about being late for work on Monday morning.
Reception staff very helpful, friendly and efficient. The room was very good - very clean, bright and had a fabulous view of the Shannon.
The only downside was that the bar (McGettigans) has entrances both from within the lobby and outside the hotel. Smokers were accumulating outside the main entrance with lots of discarded cigarette ends which looks terrible and a lot of patrons from the bar wandered in and out of reception and were quite loud and appeared intoxicated which I didn't feel matched the atmosphere the hotel would wish to portray.
