Central Location

We stayed in this hotel for one night booked at short notice and was upgraded to the Honeymoon Suite for free room was very clean and warm breakfast was a buffet all very nice with plenty of selection.

Hotel has some parking at front and their is a large pay and display car park nearby.

I won't be using The Royal Highland Hotel in Inverness again!

Neither my colleague or I were allocated the room types pre-booked, instead we were downgraded to very small single rooms without any consultation.

Reception staff were dismissive and reluctant to sort this out and there was no manager on site to consult. Eventually compensation was forthcoming but on check out it was not in the system and it was a big deal for reception staff to sort. Buffet breakfast was poor standard and hot food wasn't hot. Bar and restaurant staff were very good. Restaurant is very small but food was very good. Hotel location has good central city location (no car park), so a pity because I will not be using again.
