Room above pub
Arrived & shown to room, room was spacious, window wide open with large crack in it.
Only 1 cup & saucer. Room very hot, window rattled all night music played until midnight. Day 2 no one came into the room so bins not emptied or coffee etc not replenished. Wouldn't stay here again although it was very cheap
Not your normal stay
When we arrived i thought the greeting was Ok and was shown to our room , we had to change the room due to the one we were in having mould on the wall , the staff were very obliging and changed it without question, later on in the week we found out that the landlords had only just taken over and had been left in such a mess with everything we did feel for them, we had problems with the TV all week again this was another issue left from the last owner, we did however see a massive improvement in the cleanliness throughout the week and having his family come in to assist helped then no end as no food could be served throughout our stay we were a little disappointed about this but there were plenty of other places to eat so not so much of a problem, we feel there is away to go but from what we saw through the week Dave the landlord is well on the case to getting things sorted and we feel given a bit of time it will become a nicer place to stay.it was adiquate for our needs , we would try again given the opportunity and having given time for the improvements.
please don't just focus on the food aspect of the business as the rooms need some attention also.
