Basic but fabulous service and excellent breakfast. Superb value for money
This is an old pub in the heart of Settle.
It's old and the rooms could do with a bit of TLC but for the location and cost, it's a bargain. On top of that, the staff were wonderful as was the breakfast - I only stayed for one night and didn't have dinner there so can't comment on that. There's also a car-park for residents around the back of the pub, which was just as well as I'd unknowingly arrived during the Settle festival. Highly recommended
There ere no real issues here apart from an outdated bathroom and a standard size double bed - we are used to a king size one.
Breakfast was delicious. But we were disappointed to see that we'd have paid half the price if we'd booked direct with the hotel. Next time we will do that.
