Is better on the inside than it looks from outside, we enjoyed our stay, very clean. Good location.

A very old building, the room was cosy and comfortable.

After reading good reviews on The City we were extremely disappointed when we arrived to our room.

As soon as we walked through the door it smelt of damp. It was a Saturday night and we were directly above the pub below which as you can imagine was extremely noisy. We couldn't get to sleep till 2am. Single glazed windows meant we woke up everytime someone walked past the hotel after this... The bathroom was filthy and falling apart. The furniture in the room was shoddy and also falling apart..
