Neat place over a pub
Everything was great...from the people to the character of the place.
Currently being repainted and we had an awesome room with ensuite...wonky floors and all that. Pub below...great garden bar out back...safe parking..and lots more. Loved it and keep up the good work.
Let down by room
Great food and friendly host but the room was a complete disappointment.
The en-suite was the size of a broom cupboard and the wash-basin not big enough to get your hands in. Didn't risk the shower, but that looked pretty dubious. Had booked for two nights but my wife refused to stay more than one. We went on into Ross on Wye and found somewhere far superior for £5 cheaper.
Thank you Tim N for your compliments about our customer service, quality of our food and cleanliness.
We appreciate that the en-suite for the particular room you stayed in, is the smallest and in need of some TLC. I don't know if it was mentioned to you that we are in the process of refurbishing all five of our guest rooms. Unfortunately, though we will not be able to increase the size of the en-suite.
It saddens us though that you did not feel you could not say something to your "host" during breakfast, as we would have gladly moved you to our Super King Room, which on checking was available.
We hope if you are in the area again, you will call in to see us.
