About the hotel

*****PLEASE NOTE, RESIDENTS ARRIVING DURING CLOSING HOURS PLEASE CALL US UPON ARRIVAL***** Situated in the heart of Herefordshire’s beautiful countryside, the Harewood End is a family run traditional country inn and eating house with five en-suite rooms to accommodate guests offering a warm and friendly welcome. The Harewood End is located in a semi-rural setting in south Herefordshire, fronting the A49 within the small village of Harewood End. Approximately four miles north of the market town of Ross-on-Wye and nine miles south of the historic cathedral Hereford town.

We are ideally positioned for site-seeing and walking and for the more energetic golfing and river activities due to its close proximity to the picturesque Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. Yet we are within easy access to Gloucester, Birmingham, Cardiff and Bristol, so also ideal for business commuters.

Let down by room

Great food and friendly host but the room was a complete disappointment.

The en-suite was the size of a broom cupboard and the wash-basin not big enough to get your hands in. Didn't risk the shower, but that looked pretty dubious. Had booked for two nights but my wife refused to stay more than one. We went on into Ross on Wye and found somewhere far superior for £5 cheaper.
