The accommodation is acceptable for a business stay of 1 night.
The springs could be felt on the bed and the desk in the room looked tired and stained with marks of many coffee cups being put down.
BT Training "Camp" - beware the "W"
There was talk of snow fall, so it ticked a big box for me in being 2 miles from where I was working the next day.
It's a BT training centre (there's even a forrest of telegraph poles to practice on just off the car park) with a hint of military establishment about it. If I'd paid £30/£35 it would have been a case of you get what you pay for, but at £50 they're pushing their luck. I was put in a block that was one of the older ones (Maybe called "Windermere", but certainly began with a "W"). A small dated room and not as nice as those in two newer blocks (I was told by a fellow inmate the next day). There's a hint of "executive" in the web spiel but it's not, e.g. for restaurant read "canteen". 10 am check out but House Keeping persistently knocking on the door at 08:30 to get in and change the bedding, so felt obliged to vacate even though I had emails to go through. Broadband was good, as you'd expect of a BT patronised Est. BUT suprisingly the telly was awful - 5 channels of snow; almost unwatchable. Clean and basic, but I wouldn't stay there again at that price.
