This one-time Drover's Inn provides quality, en-suite accommodation in the heart of the Devon countryside, with easy access to Dartmoor National Park and the beautiful South Devon coastline. The Rising Sun is a family run, traditional country pub offering quality, home-cooked food and West Country cask ales in a relaxing atmosphere with open fires, lovely gardens and ample car parking. We are also a pet friendly establishment.

Good value stay at the Rising Sun

Very helpful owners and staff.

Good value basic room with excellent food both evening meal and breakfast. A bit out of the way if you don't drive there although the owner took me to the local town instead of booking a taxi for me which was greatly appreciated.

Would recommend

Lovely overnight stay.

Hosts were friendly and nothing too much trouble. Room clean and comfortable. Food excellent with good choice at breakfast. Would definitely stay again.
