night in Huddersfield
Where to begin.
The broken lift, the fact that the combination on the door didn't work and I ended up in another (small, depressing) room with no lighting other than the bright 'interrogation' ceiling bulbs, the shabby decor, the filthy bathroom floor, someone else's shavings in the sink, the barely functioning internet... Oh, and the absence of breakfast (although that is admittedly flagged up on the page where one books). I don't think I'll be back; nor would anyone else, but then again I suppose most of the traffic is one-off visitors like me.
