PUB WITH ROOMS IN A VILLAGE LOCATION.
When I arrived the pub was closed.
Was let in but rooms were not ready. After sitting in bar for nearly an hour was given key to room. Room ok, nothing special. Evening meal and breakfast were ok but nothing to write home about. The pub was under new ownership at the time and so may have improved a little. All in all, an ok experience but wouldn't go out of my way to stay again if there was an alternative in the area.
This is a lovely pub in a lovey location tho the pub and accommodation is a little tired
I understand the present owner have only been in this establishment for a few months it is a little tired and in need of redecoration and some TLC bed very comfy and so peaceful so a good night sleep food was okay but then it was not very expensive I would stay again but would hope the new owners make some improvements
