Welcoming, comfy in need of some updating
Stayed for 1 night in July 2015, 2 adults and 2 dogs in the room.
We couldn't have been made more welcome this is a very dog friendly establishment they even served breakfast in the bar for us so the dogs could stay by our side whilst leaving other diners in peace. The room was small for the 4 of us but that was only to be expected. The furniture was dated and had we stayed for more than 1 night the sticking drawer on the set of drawers in the bedroom would have been a problem. Most importantly, the bed was very comfortable and clean and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. We did report a sticking shower door and were told that a workman was waiting to sort it. I get the impression that updates to the decor are going to be ongoing. We enjoyed our evening meal in the bar and cooked breakfast. Would definitely stay here and eat here again.
Great for one night
