A Snowy Walk in Derbyshire
All the good comments by other reviewers were true.
Comfortable room, large bed, excellent breakfast, interesting architecture and friendly hosts. We particularly appreciated the loan of two walking sticks for our walk, and the local advice. Thank you.
A history in time
We stayed here during a two day hike of the Derbyshire dales.
The home is set in a converted church which has some original features and is very quirky in its design. It is like stepping back in time. The owners David and Andrea were more then accommodating, David had very extensive knowledge of the area and was more then happy to give my partner a history tour of the house. The home is warm friendly and just what you would expect from a B&B. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of choices and fresh fruit. We really enjoyed the stay and would definitely visit Matlock and the old Sunday school again.
