Meet by the barmen on arrival who showed us to our room and then left.
Didn't tell us about what time the place locked up and what key opened what, whether there was a specific guest entrance as oppossed to the main entrance. Menu board was up, but apparently no food was being served. If I'm staying in a pub that serves food, I expect it to serve food. The rooms had obviously recently been refurnished, but there were stains on the walls in the bedroom and the bathroom taps barely reached over the sink making using them awkward. Breakfast, however was grand. perfectly filling for a day of walking.
Well worth booking
We were welcomed from the second we walked in and through out our stay.
I would recommend The Bull's Head to anyone as well worth a stay.
