Nothing wrong with this accommodation but...
I was looking to treat my girlfriend, who is staying in Seoul and missing laying in the bath tub.
This room was bought because it looked great in the photos and it had a bath tub and on both of those accounts it did not disappoint. We found that the beds were SUPER firm. Great if you like that kind of thing, but we don't. Rock hard mattress, solid pillows and scratchy top sheets. We decided at 2am to quit trying to sleep and go back to her apartment after all. The room looks fine, it has complementary wifi, access to a laptop, plenty of sitting space and even a kitchen of sorts... on closer inspection, there is no microwave and no usable kitchen utensils, cutlery, wine glasses, etc. It's not really a kitchen at all. Just a work top, a sink and a kettle. The hotel has a bar restaurant that looks great, but be warned the restaurant in the basement closes at 11pm during the week, not so great if you want a late night cocktail and bite to eat. The staff were polite and friendly. As for the area, I'd say that there are nicer ares to stay in Seoul than Sadang, although it's not terrible. The hotel is very well located for the subway and plenty of buses and taxi's pass by. There is plenty of Korean restaurants and bars in the immediate area, with the traditional mix of shopping outlets. If you're not used to the busy Seoul roads, you may be put off by the very busy Sadang junction.
