Hosts Pat and Geoff Horrocks-Taylor offer guests a warm and friendly welcome to their B&B whether thay are staying for business or pleasure. They are happy to share their extensive local knowledge with guests of places to visit, the many walks that start from the house and opportunities for sports or cultural events. Children love to help feed our animals, visit the nearby Eureka Children's museum or Shibden Park. We are also a pet friendly bed and breakfast.
Parts of the house and barn date back to at least the 1300's, and the B&B combines an olde worlde charm with all modern amenities and comforts. The farmhouse B&B is situated just one mile from Halifax in the picturesque Shibden Valley, very near to the famous home of Anne Lister, Shibden Hall.
Facilities include Wi-Fi and plasma TV's in all bedrooms, good safe parking, a quiet country setting and good restaurants and pubs such as the Shibden Mill Inn and Stump Cross Inn, nearby.
