Great host. Great venue.
I had a lovely time at Sweetbriar.
Absolutely no hassle, clean and comfortable, very spacious. Host is very friendly and accommodating. Will stay again.
The house is in an excellent location for a short break with some lovely local food in the King's Head at Grassington.
Our greeting on arrival was disappointing and not the friendly welcome we had expected, the rooms could have been cleaner and the following morning's breakfast could have been better - no fresh fruit, limited juice and were the sausages from a local farm. HOWEVER - our second night improved considerably with the arrival of the lady of the house who introduced herself and was friendly, chatty, welcoming, helpful and served a much better breakfast with a smile. She was such a welcome contrast. When we discovered that there was no credit card machine or bank within easy distance in order to pay our bill, BOTH hosts were very accommodating.
