The staff and their friendliness cannot be faulted.
The room was tired, think with the colour scheme and units and headboard and you could be transported to a 1980's static caravan on a holiday park somewhere. The shower had little or no pressure. Windows not good. Mattress hard and springs could be felt. A bit of effort and this could have been a fantastic room. It wasn't.
Superb !!!!!! Friendly and cosy !!
I booked this accommodation as a surprise for my Fiancé's birthday x we were going to the live@Troon event to see our favourite band GUN.
I had looked at accommodation closer to the event but they were all fully booked x we were not disappointed !!!!. on arrival we knew our stay would be a pleasant one !. we were greeted by Dionne who was extremely helpful and organised our taxi to the event x our room was spotless clean and comfortable !. we had drinks in the bar before heading out served by cheerful friendly staff !. My only disappointment of this hotel but not really relevant to most people was that the smoking area was between the pillars at the entrance to the hotel despite there being a beautiful patio area at the rear which I feel would be more discreet for smokers and not so off putting for other visitors x It would have been nice to chill out with a smoke and a drink and admire the views x On our return from the event we were again greeted warmly and friendly x Great night sleep and breakfast was amazing and cooked to order x will definitely return x
