St Valentine's Night Stay
This was our second stay at The Knowe in under a year.
We didn't expect anything less than a superb stay and naturally, we weren't disappointed. There were several nice touches to our St Valentine's night stay and these were greatly appreciated. Karen ensures that you have a superb stay and nothing is too much bother. On Karen's recommendation, we ate out at The Clachan in St John's Town of Dalry (about 8 miles/15 minutes to the south) and the food was delicious, in a lovely atmosphere. The Knowe is a B&B you do find very difficult to leave. Thanks once again, and we'll be back.
Friendly service in stylish surroundings
The host was so helpful and friendly.
Loved the fluffy towels and homemade shortbread too. The room was cosy and beautifully decorated. We also loved the guest sitting room with the books and modern DVDS.
The breakfast was very good although my favourite (smoked salmon) wasn't on the menu....Gorgeous fruit salad however.
