I treat my husband to a weekend in Brighton.
The service here was impeccable. The staff were all eager to help in whichever way they could. We even had breakfast in bed, what a lovely treat.
Clean and cheap
I think that we probably got what we paid for (£49 for the night).
Had a nightmare with the thermostat when we got back at 10pm, consequently the boiler kicked in at 4.15am, and that was the end of my nights sleep. The bed base wasn't fastened together, which wasn't too bad as I slept alone, but nevertheless, it had a gap of 2" between both halves when I got up. Would have been so much worse if there had been 2 of us in it. The sofa beds are a good idea, however the fitted sheet didn't fit, so my daughter slept on bath towels ... I took a lot of notice of all the reviews before booking, and they were all extremely positive, maybe we just got them on a bad day?
