Weekend away from the stresses in life
Friendly and lovely hotel and in a good position for restaurants around within walking distance.
Lively pub on the evening, so we didn't eat at the hotel, although the food did look nice. We went next door to a lovely Indian Restaurant. The room was plenty big enough and quite quirky with the uneven and slopping floor and steps down to the bathroom. It was very clean throughout the room and well maintained by the hotelier.
Last minute Overnight stay
Family run pub accommodation that was very friendly and welcoming with plenty of character in a nice traditional village setting.
Room was on small side with low beams but clean and tidy. Dinner in evening was good as was service, and we enjoyed the friendly atmosphere shared with the locals. Breakfast was included and again good. Would definitely book a return visit but would request a different room due to low ceiling height of beams.
