About the hotel
We welcome guests into the traditional bar with open plan reception, seating and access to free-view flat screen TV. We are 5 minutes from Canterbury West Station, 10 minutes to the town centre and 15 minutes to the University of Kent. We speak English, Spanish, Catalan, Romanian, Urdu and Peshto.
We offer quality accommodation with new modern en-suite facilities in nine uniquely beautiful and quiet rooms. Recently refurbished in calm and peaceful colours, with period furniture and decoration, all newly restored throughout and in keeping with the period building, retaining many original features, such as fireplaces, wall panelling and original floors. Every bed is new with a memory-foam topped mattress on a sprung base. Each small en-suite has a power shower with instant hot water, a heated towel rail, an led mirror and free toiletries. All rooms have a beverage welcome tray with ground coffee and assorted teas. A hair-dryer, fan and a flat screen TV with remote are provided. Continental Breakfast is included in the price of the rooms, we also offer a variety of freshly cooked traditional full English breakfasts from 8am to 10 am. The kitchen is recently refurbished. The garden patio has tables and sunshades to sit outside in the summer. In and around Canterbury there are plenty of things to do and places to eat. There is the Marlowe Theatre and of course the famous Canterbury Cathedral. Please can guests call 01227 455411 at least an hour before arrival. Check-in 2pm - 8pm. Thank you
