Not what we expected!!

I read some good reviews about the harboro and was really looking forward to our stay; regrettably we left rather disappointed.

Work is very much in progress in the party we stayed in and my wife wondered if it was legal to put guests in there with that much renovation going on. Stripped walls, foam fillers outside our room with trailing wires. Two holes in the ceiling in our room. My son's room had no window!( fire regulations??) I could go on....but the staff were friendly, breakfast was good, and the new shiny bathroom was clean...no chair in the room!!

Harboro Hotel

Lovely hotel, very clean, we were upgraded when arrived and staff warned us of the refurbishment going on in the hotel.

The evening meal and breakfast were delicious. The only downside to our stay was getting a parking ticket for parking outside the hotel, we arrived at night, in the dark and didn't see the restriction signs and the hotel didn't ask us if we had arrived by car, I'm pretty sure this may have happened to customers before and it is not clear where the hotels private car park is...so make sure you ask when you arrive, otherwise it's a lovely hotel and we would definitely stay again
