Could do better!
At the time of my stay, my impression is that this pub is in transition (sign up outside advertising for a tenant) with temporary staff & management who don't know the ropes.
No food available on the Monday I stayed and though not included in the rate there was not even an offer of breakfast. Worst of all I nearlly ended up sleeping in my car: Went for a walk round town and got back at 10:00 pm to find the pub shut and the main door to the accom block locked. My keys wouldn't open the door, so figure they maybe changed the locks recently. No response to repeated pressing on the door bell. After ten minutesI happened to catch a shadow inside and banged the door - a young women who seemed to be doing laundry opened up and let me in but didn't really didn't know or check who I was. At £65 for a single with no food, not a great experience.
