Very disappointed

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at, the room had bugs and spiders in, plug sockets were not working we had to use an extension lead provided, the ironing board cover was burnt, full of holes and didn't fit on the iron, and they decided to have a fire drill at 07:30 am.

Never in a million years worth £70 per night without breakfast

Chimney House Hotel and Restaurant

Although dinner was enjoyable, it was not good value for the cost.

Breakfast was very poor. Instead of the drinks machine it would be better if the person taking room numbers etc also asked if customers wanted tea or coffee and then gave out pots - cheaper in the long run but customers do not have to then get up from the table for a second cup. The hotel could do with the net curtains washing as they are totally nicotine stained and in need of good wash. Make all rooms non smoking!
