About the hotel

The Devon & Cornwall is a 17th century inn in the village of Millbrook, Cornwall. It has many traditional features including stone floors and open fires. The village itself has many shops and services and is a great central point for exploring this beautiful area.

The villages of Kingsand and Cawsand are less than 2 miles away and Whitsand Bay is about the same. The area is very popular for weddings especially in nearby Mount Edgcumbe Park and Polhawn Fort. We are also a 15 minute drive from HMS Raleigh and close to the naval base at Devonport. The city of Plymouth is 30 minutes away by car ferry, ideal for a days shopping. Our 5 ensuite rooms have all been refurbished for 2013. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in all rooms as well as flat screen TVs with all freeview channels and for Sport lovers we have Sky Sports & BT Sports on offer in the bar. Free Wifi is available throughout the building. Our bar area has a range of local real ales, lagers, wines, spirits and soft drinks on offer as well as home cooked meals and bar snacks at lunchtimes and in the evenings. With a range of gluten free and vegetarian meals as well as all the old favourites we have something for everyone. Why not join us for quiz night on Monday, Curry Night on Tuesday, Steak Night on Wednesday or roast dinner on Sunday ? For those who are off for a day exploring the area we can provide a packed lunch and Thermos. In the bar we have a range of traditional pub games, open fires and even a beer garden to while away a sunny afternoon. For families we can offer a travel cot, bed guard and high chair as well as toys and games to keep little ones happy. In fact, please contact us if there is anything you need to make your stay more comfortable and we will do what we can to help. Visiting Torpoint?? Stay here! Fab wee pub, great rooms, Liz and her mum are fantastic hosts!!

Stayed here when visiting Torpoint for a wedding.

Great wee rooms, good breakfasts and owner Liz and her wee mum could not have been nicer. Nothing 2 much trouble including Liz offering to drive us to the church when our wedding taxi was late ( turned up ok )!. Millbrook is an interesting wee place as was the whole of Torpoint which we were lucky enough to visit during an 'Indian Summer'. Dave

Pleasant staff, good food, poor location and noisy.

The pub is situated between 2 roads which run directly alongside the building, passing traffic especially buses make the rooms noisy - no duble glazing.

Millbrook is a small village 20 minutes from Plymouth, access roads are narrow and there is a fiarly high volume of traffic.
