About the hotel
Singleton Manor is a spacious grade 2* listed Tudor house with many period features. Located on the outskirts of Ashford, just a 15 minute drive from the Channel Tunnel, it is an ideal location for the first or last stop of a holiday on the continent. Ashford International Station is a 7 minute car drive away and has high-speed train connections to London’s Olympic Village in 30 minutes, Brussels in 1hr 25 minutes and Paris in 1 hr 45 minutes.
This family-run B&B offers two double rooms to guests. The four-poster overlooks the Moat to the front of the house. It has a separate WC and a free standing bath tub with hand-held shower head within the bedroom. For family occupants, we can put up a single bed and baby’s cot alongside the large four-poster bed. The Garden Room overlooks the garden to the back of the house. It is en suite with a walk in shower. There is space to put up a baby’s cot if required. Breakfast is in the 16th century oak paneled hall and the snooker room and garden are also available to guests. For a good pub lunch or dinner, you need only walk one minute to the Singleton Barn pub. There are an abundance of country and coastal walks and places of interest within a 30 minute drive from the house. We suggest the castles of Leeds, Dover, Hever, Bodiam, and Sissinghurst as well as Godington House and Canterbury Cathedral. The coastal towns of Deal and Rye are also well worth a visit. Golfers can reach courses at Chart Hills, Great Chart, Ashford and Tenterden with 15 minutes and Weald of Kent, Faversham and Cranbrook within 30 minutes. Whilst dogs are accepted, please note that they cannot be accommodated in the Four Poster room.

A very warm welcome..
A little hidden treasure.. Dates back medieval/ Tudor with the history of this home being looked after.. Yet all the modern comforts...5 star standard with the friendly relaxing atmosphere.. You would want to visit again.
A remarkable experience
The accommodation was above expectations, interesting staying in an old manor house with what appear to be many original features.
The room was modern and smart. The breakfast exceptional with a wide choice of food. The garden and moat were worth exploring especially the yew hedge with its entrances and tunnel down the centre. Altogether a very enjoyable stay.
