About the hotel
The Gables is a family run guesthouse offering accommodation set over three floors of this lovely Victorian house. A central base for either walking or touring the Lake District by car and within only minutes of Ambleside's many restaurants, shops and Zefferellis five screen cinemas. We offer secure bicycle storage, a drying room, limited parking and spa passes to the wonderful Langdale Spa, a short drive away towards the Langdale Pikes.

Another great visit
Yet another break at the gables as the last one in 2014 was so good thought I would try it again.
Certainly wasn't disappointed this time either. Very relaxing break even if the weather was a bit gloomy. It doesn't seem to matter if you stay at the gables.
