Lovely place to stay except for the staff who are totally disorganised & provide a very poor service

When we arrived the room had been double booked and a poor family had to be found somewhere else to stay.

When asked to provide towels and a light bulb they needed to be asked several times and the towels were so late we missed breakfast. One evening they took our keys off us for some repairs but we arrived back as the staff were driving off with our key and were moments away from being locked out for the night in the pitch black with no emergency number to call. The rooms were lovely but could not make up for the disorganised team.

Worth a visit

The accommodate has been recently renovated and yet retains the quirky character of a 16th Century coaching inn.

The food is nothing short of stunning and the staff could not have been more helpful. Well worth a visit.
