Full of potential

I wasn't sure what to expect from this hotel as it was one of the only places with rooms left when I booked but I was pleasantly surprised.

Even if your not happy with the value of the room the view more than makes up for it. Our room was clean and colour and it was obvious that Bay Hotels are currently in the processing of updating everything, I have nothing but praise for them. The bathroom was brand new and spotless with a great power shower.

The staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. Breakfast was served swiftly and there was plenty to pick from.

I've seen some bad reviews for this place but don't let it put you off because yes it's not the Hilton but who cares when you can sit on the benches over looking the bay listening to the open air theatre show and watching the finale fireworks as the sun sets

don't go there

We booked the hotel on last minute and the process was quite simple and easy to use.

When we arrived at the hotel which was advertised as a 3 star to find out that the sign outside the hotel says it is a 2 star false advertising springs to mind. Upon entering the hotel we were made to pay before we even got to our room then had to walk up to the 3rd floor as the lift did not work after walking up the extremely badly decorated stairs and having to open the door to room 317 as the door closer was to strong for my wife to open we were both horrified at the state of the room stained walls and carpets broken sink and the hot water and shower were a joke. And breakfast was inedible think late rooms need to go and check this out for themselves.
