Rowton Court Hotel
Great for a short stay.
We didn't expect a palace but ....
this place is really tired the staff are lovely there is plenty of parking but the rooms - stained carpet, shower curtains full of mold nothing matches in the room i.e decor. The curtains in our room were hanging off the window. Not sure whether they are in the middle of refurbishment as there was all sorts of tools and things in the bar area. Beds were comfy but it was kind of like sleeping on a crisp packet - a plastic sheet covered the mattress and the sheets moved with you as you moved in bed as they were not fitted. This has great potential we had a lovely walk to the Cheshire Cat and then along the canal into town, takes a good 20mins. We did plan to take breakfast there but decided against it and left early to eat elsewhere. I am really sorry that I can't say anything nice about this place but unfortunately I would not stay here again or recommend unless it does improve. it would be a good place for a stag night as you couldn't ruin anything in the place.
