Fantastic stay with amazing food

Stayed here for one night with husband and our 2 year old.

The room was nice and big, bed was comfy and the character was brilliant. We decided to have dinner in the pub and the food was top class, it was extremely busy but the service was second to none. There was a band playing that night and the landlady offered to move us to the top floor so not to disturb our sleeping son. After a very good nights sleep, we had a very lovely breakfast, again top quality, ready to set us up for the day. Friendly staff, fantastic food and a inn with great character. Highly recommended.

Good value, comfortable and friendly

I stayed for one night, not knowing the area at all.

The welcome was friendly, the room clean, cosy and pleasant to stay in. The local information provided in the room was also very helpful. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious, good value and served by a very nice, helpful waitress. Breakfast was great and again, friendly staff. The lack of wifi or much of a 3G signal in the room is the only issue, but that was made clear in the info before booking, so not a problem in that sense. Had a good night's sleep and a lovely time.
