About the hotel
Sawdon Heights is a working farm situated between the picturesque market town of Pickering and the Victorian Spa resort of Scarborough. We are ideally located for exploring the North York Moors, Dalby Forest (Go Ape) and the spectacular East Coast and its famous sea port of Whitby. We are in easy raech of the Roman city of York, Castle Howard and Eden Camp just to name a few of the fabulous attractions close by.
Sawdon Heights is in a tranquil and beautiful location on the edge of the North York Moors National Park and offers guests stunning views over the Vale of Pickering and the Yorkshire Wolds. We are close to Dalby and Wykeham forests which offer fantastic walking and cycling opportunities for all abilities to explore. It is an ideal base for bird-watching with designated view points close to the farm. The luxury accommodation is exclusively for our guests and includes a breakfast room/lounge which offers plenty of space for visitors to relax with patio doors opening onto the south facing patio and garden with spectacular views over open countryside and three beautifully appointed bedrooms all with spacious en-suite facilities. Greenlands is a luxury double bedroom with double aspect over-looking the Yorkshire Wolds and has a spacious en-suite with ornate roll top bath. Broats is another generous double bedroom with cast iron bed and over- looks the pretty yard garden with its mature chestnut trees. It has a spacious en-suite with bath and over-head shower. Moorsome is an easy access gound floor double (super-king ) / twin bedroom with views over-looking open countryside with large en-suite wet room suitable for disabled guests.

Sue was so welcoming and is genuinely interested in her guests I felt sad to leave and will definitely stay again .A fantastic breakfast each morning as well as home made cake a beautiful room and so big and spacious.
It was all so clean and relaxed and peaceful and just what we needed. A good central location.
