Excellent hotel for budget accomodation!
This hotel was great for the budget.
Our room was very clean & had all the things you needed, including iron & ironing board, hairdryer, kettle, teabags coffee etc, even decent little toiletries & not that horrible cheap stuff in dispensers you so often get in low budget places. I have to commend the staff - they were really friendly & helpful. Check in & check out was speedy, efficient & delivered with a smile. Extra tea bags & milk were forthcoming when needed. Excellent customer service which is all too often a rarity these days. Not sure what else to say. We stayed on a Saturday night, which I thought might be a bit noisy but we had a peaceful nights sleep. We didn't have breakfast there, so I can't comment on the catering. Just a useful note, there is a big Sainsbury's right opposite for anything you might have forgotton & a cash machine too.
its just OK
Just OK - only stayed one night.
Room decent size, layout a bit strange as bed one side almost up to the wall with loads of space the other side. Bed comfy - but we do like a hard bed. Hair dryer , iron and ironing board and Tea and coffee facilities too. So why just OK - the walk in shower was not clean with clumps of black mould in the corners and the carpet in the room was dirty and stained. If we hadn't arrived late and were leaving early would definitely have asked to be moved to another room.
