Great building but too noisy on a weekend
Wonderful building full of character and a lively atmosphere BUT I stayed over 2 nights, Friday & Saturday....there is a DJ playing very loud music on both nights until very late....so I changed rooms to the front which is next to a duel carriageway and appears to be a race track through the night hence very little sleep was gained on both nights.
If you want to sleep at the weekend then don't stay here.
Old Crown Hotel
The room was filthy, the plug sockets didn't work, the shared bathroom was dirty and smelly, there was loud music nearby ALL night and people in the next room were very loud.
Breakfast was excellent!
