Well worth a visit
We stayed over here as we were at a wedding nearby, the room we were given had a separate lounge area separated from the bedroom by big double doors.
There was a decent size fridge so anyone staying for any length of time could stock food and drinks if they wanted. Tea making facilities provided. However, the breakfast included in the price was excellent and the staff extremely friendly. Nice shower room and fresh towels each day. The meals at the Craster Arms are meant to be lovely but being at the wedding and eating earlier on our day of arrival meant we never got to try for ourselves. Just a couple of niggles... The curtain in the bedroom was shorter than the actual window recess so that even with the blind the light came through the bottom. Anyone who likes to sleep late might find this a problem. The room could do with a mirror near to a socket in which to use the hairdryer. Apart from that, the pub serves real ales and has a fabulous beer garden. The place is very dog friendly which we normally look for. There is an annual beer festival at the end of July which unfortunately we just missed as had to leave that day. We would return in future for that and also the fantastic beaches just nearby.
All in all a lovely place to visit.
Friendly and helpful staff.
